About Us

London School of Counselling was created by a team of practitioners that believe adult education should be fun, dynamic, experiential, motivational, practical and challenging – better than past experience that has left so many adults feeling disillusioned with or let down by formal education.

Our Experience

LSC practitioners are fully qualified tutors with over 40 years’ experience between them of designing and delivering Levels 1 to 5 courses in Counselling and Life Coaching as well as training courses in Assertiveness, Confidence Building, Hypnosis, Mental Health Awareness, Mindfulness, Stress Management and Substance Misuse Awareness.

Our Core Values

Working closely alongside each other for over 13 years, we wanted the chance to bring together all of the things that we felt worked in terms of counselling training and offer them to the world. With a solid foundation in humanistic practice, we believe in providing courses which are inclusive, playing to students’ individual strengths and breaking down barriers that prevent those without any formal education from reaching their true potential.

Our Philosophy

LSC tutors model what they expect from students, providing connectedness, accessibility, high quality learning experiences and an affordable career pathway into counselling and related professions. More than simply telling you what counselling is, LSC courses are a journey both inwards and outwards. Without working on self, one cannot develop the skills needed to become an effective helper and at LSC, we believe that learning about self must form the underlying foundation on which to build your counselling palace.
