April, Apertures and Authenticity

Vic Norman - 7th April 2023

On a Counselling course that begins in the New Year, by this time, something magical often begins to happen. Growing awareness of Self through journalling and personal development and talking points in class coupled with growing awareness of others through diversity topics etc, provide space for acceptance to come through. Some basic concepts such as Conditions of Worth and the search for the Authentic Self allow this acceptance to build change.

Each year we revel in the return to growth and renewal, in all its explosive potentiality.

This opening up, of seedlings, of blossom, of humans is mirrored in the origin of this month of April. From the Latin ‘aperire’. To open
